Description
The grouper or Kalavaan fish, also known as the Queensland groper, brindle grouper, or mottled-brown sea bass, is a species of marine ray-finned fish, a grouper from the subfamily Epinephelinae which is part of the family Serranidae, which also includes the anthias and sea basses. It is a good source of vitamins and minerals such as vitamins B, D, and A and nutrients like omega-3 acid, magnesium, protein, iron, and potassium.
